Q: I have been appointed at sponsorship campaign and was hoping LERN has some resources I could use. it's been a while since i have done one. i have to put on the city's concerts in the park for 2013. i need to secure sponsors for the event. i the past we have done the traditional sponsorship packages, ex: silver, gold, etc.
A: If you go into LERN Club and click on the link that says “Webinars on Demand” and scroll down a little bit down on the page, you will find a webinar entitled “Roundtable: Best Practices for Attracting Sponsors for Youth & Adult Leagues” that was held on Mar 6 2012. That would be a good starting place to bring you up to speed. In the meantime, I will check with some other recreation members to see if any have written sponsorship packages/guidelines they would share with you.
