Q: I’m searching for some information. Do any of your LERN members have policies/procedures in place to deal with the issue of child abuse? With recent developments at Penn State, I’ve been asked to see what other educational programs that work with children have in place...if anything. We do background checks on all of our faculty/staff/interns/volunteers who work with children, but we have nothing related to what our faculty/staff/interns/volunteers should do if they suspect child abuse in the home or see anything on our campus, etc.
