Q: Your marketing article "Generational marketing strategies that work" talks about catalog design with one focused image. do you have any further supporting information on front cover design of catalogs?

A: LERN has a lot of information on brochure design, and especially information on how to design covers. I suggest that you visit the LERN Club and click on the link to Webinars on Demand at the top of the page. There are several webinars on brochure design. I think the most recent is Brochure Basics in September 2012. In addition the LERN Club has samples of exemplary brochure design--including covers. You will find that on the first page of the LERN Club on the left hand side under Ideas from the Field. Click on Brochures, and you will be able to access a wide variety of brochure design ideas.

I would like to suggest that you consider taking our Program Management Institute training. You can earn your certification as a Certified Program Planner, and there is a wealth of information about all aspects of managing a lifelong learning program. Face to face Institutes are offered each spring, and we also have online opportunities for this training. The annual conference offers a "CPP Track" with sessions designed to address the needs of lifelong learning professionals. Let me know if we can provide you with more information about the Program Management Institute--either the face to face option or the online opportunity.
