Q: First, do you have data on the membership regarding Trainer information? I am looking for the demographics like average hourly rate paid, unionized/non-unionized, posting requirements, credentialing requirements, etc. Second, I need to know if you have examples of Project Based contracts for Training Administrators that coordinate training programs for workforce development? I have a predominantly part-time staff. Hiring these people to work on a part-time clock has proven to be very problematic as the legal requirements contain way too many restrictions to work with our customers effectively. So, I am looking for examples of project based contracts for training administrators. Can you help? Do you have a recommended model for me to look at?

 

A: To address some of your specific questions, "posting requirements" are usually totally institution driven, and highly regional--that is, different in Seattle than in Mississippi. Your question is a rather complicated one. You are going to have to talk to someone on your own campus’ HR and Legal departments because the laws will vary so widely.
