Q: Does LERN have information about the impact community education programs have on the community. Do you have a copy of those formulas?
A: We have done studies that show that participation in Community education has a positive impact on voter behavior. Exit poll data we collected has shown that those who participate in community education offerings are more likely to support funding initiatives for the schools than the population at large. I have attached a report we put together using this information.
In additon, surveys we have done have suggested that participation in community education programs has positive benefits on workplace behavior, even when courses are not work related. You can find some of this information in the LERN Club. We have created an archive of webinars for use by LERN members. The webinar called "Make Your Program Essential" has this information. There is also an Economic Impact Worksheet that you can use to calculate the financial contribution your programs makes to the community.
