Q: We are trying to change our Customer Satisfaction Survey process (class evaluations) and to add periodic surveys to elicit broader program feedback. Currently our class surveys are hard copy, then someone has to collect and type up all the feedback and the instructor as well as their supervisor gets the results. We are looking at Zoomerang and Survey monkey but we hope to purchase LUMENS and I wanted to see how surveys/evaluations might already be incorporated into your software. I have followed the guidelines LERN recommends as far as our Student Satisfaction Surveys. They are simple, one question: Please rate this class (1 -5 with work descriptors for each) and then a comments section. They have the option of signing or remaining anonymous (testimonial source). I think I would like to be connected to the Membership Services Team to see if they have any additional information
A: Using survey monkey is an excellent option for gathering information about your participants' experience in your program. LERN uses this frequently for surveys, and we get a very high rate of response. It is also useful that the software can produce charts and analyze the responses automatically, which is a big time-saver. If you would like us to critique your evaluation form, just let us know. It is part of your member benefit package, so we can do this at no cost to you.
