Q: We are seeking information on salary and title for a Contract Training Assistant.We are about to hire someone that will be doing everything from registration to marketing to sales. The only thing this new position will not do is the budget. We would like to know what different assistant positions are out there and the salary so we can decide what title to give this person.
A: -Presently the four primary roles in CT are – salesperson, product/service development, inside sales (find and qualify leads, set appointments, generate repeat business), and operations. I am thinking new position is doing primarily inside sales and operations.
-Many titles could be used, but Sales Assistant or Sales Coordinator would be best.
-Pay rate will fall between $30,000 and $45,000 with many in the position at $35,000-$40,000. Now location may have an impact, but with benefits this is a good pay rate for duties required.
-There could be bonuses included for sales generated, leads generated, and so on.
