With many organizations solidifying their annual goals and starting their fiscal year on Jan. 1, this month is a great time to promote UGotClass to companies and large organizations in your area.
Here’s what successful Partners do:
1. Send a flyer, with a letter or short note, to HR directors in 15-25 of the largest organizations in your area. Include the three to five most relevant UGotClass courses, such as the Certificate in Data Analysis, in the flyer.
2. Follow up with an email, asking if the person would like to visit with you by phone.
3. Consider offering your large organizations a discount on multiple registrations. You generate more dollars.
Of course, your face to face programs are important to promote as well, so a blend of F2F and online UGotClass courses will work great for your flyer. There are a lot of benefits to UGotClass courses that you can highlight to employers.
-UGotClass students can learn from anywhere at any time. This is a huge benefit to employers who don't want their employers to miss work functions for training. Students don't need to take any time off of work, and they won't miss any meetings because of the professional development.
-UGotClass instructors are nationally-known experts in their field. Your employees are learning from a highly qualified instructor that's been approved by over 200 universities, community colleges, public schools, and other lifelong learning providers.
-When your employees complete our Certificate programs, you know your employees learned the material. We never issue documents of completion unless students complete all their courses at 80% or higher, so we know that they can demonstrate their knowledge.
-Documents of completion are jointly offered by [your organization] and the Learning Resources Network. The student's learning is guaranteed by [your organization] and the world's largest association of lifelong learning.
-Gen Y values trainings and continuing education. Our courses are a great way to keep your Gen Yers happy and productive.
-The UGotClass online classroom is easy to navigate and very intuitive. It's perfect for first-time online learners. Everything is done in the web browser, so there's no need for specialized equipment to take the course.
Several UGotClass partners have had great success with joining up with local businesses. In November 2016, College of Lake County made their way from our Top 15 Partner list to our Top 5 list by teaming up with an international manufacturing company who has a large office in their area. The corporation sent their management team through our Your Workplace, Your Employees, and The Law course which meant over 60 extra UGotClass registrations for CLC!
The University of Richmond School of Professional and Continuing Studies, a partner that consistently is in our Top 3, took things one step further and reached out to their on-campus HR department. Now, University of Richmond faculty and staff are directed to the SPCS department for almost all of their training. They've had a lot of success with promoting UGotClass courses to these professionals whose schedules can get a bit too hectic to commit to a face to face course.
