The general public is confused. Class programs are confused too. There are no common definitions and terms for courses offered online. That includes y/our UGotClass courses.
Too many UGotClass Partners describe our courses as Self-Study or Self-Paced. That's not correct. We have an active instructor online and ongoing Discussion, which self-study and self-paced courses do not have. Also, our courses have a start and end date, unlike self-study and self-paced.
Here's the correct definition for UGotClass courses:
"There is a start and end date to the class. Students participate anytime day or night. The class is instructor-led. The instructor is active and participating in the written discussion. Students participate in the written discussion and ask questions, comment and respond to other students’ comments."
You can choose from any of these three terms to describe our classes:
1.Online-Async (Recommended)
2. Online-Asynchronous
3. Online-Instructor Led
