Look at Test Scores, Not Grades

Happy Momday. Each Monday moms and dads get tips on supporting their boys and young men.

Tip #1
Look at your boy’s test scores, not his grades, to find out how much your boy knows and is learning.

GPA is biased against males, with 36% of boys receiving significantly worse grades than they deserve. Test scores, even including the teacher’s own tests, are much more accurate in measuring how much your boy is learning and knows.
