Just discovered fact.
Even in graduate school, in schools like engineering where males are the majority of students, males get worse grades than females. As most people know, men go into engineering jobs more than women do. The faculty is largely male. Graduates make good money.
And these smart young men have had good GPAs in high school, good GPAs at the undergraduate level, and survived GPA-wise to get into graduate school. And yet, even the best of the best males get worse grades than the females. This is just plain wrong.
We got the data from the University of Kansas graduate school of engineering, and the GPAs from the University of Wisconsin graduate school of engineering. No graduate school reports males having the same GPA as females. True, the GPA gap at the graduate level is less than in high school or college, but that would make sense since these young men are the most “well behaved” GPA-wise of the smart males.
