Q: We have been approached about offering an ASL program for credit, as the college eliminated the credit program some years ago. Sacramento State has a summer immersion program through their CE department and I am going to research that. Do you know of anyone doing something similar?
A: There is a growing trend for divisions of continuing education programs to offer courses for credit. A recent LERN survey found that between 40 and 50 percent of colleges are offering some type of credit programming.
