Q: I was wondering too if you can give me some information about the live chat service you offer on the web. Do you recommend it what does it cost..who is answering it?

A: The program we use is Life Help by Live Person. It costs $99 per month per user, and there is no contract so we can cancel at any time. If you want to have the ability to track when someone is online or offline and how many messages are received, there is an additional $50 charge. Our use of it varies considerably from about one inquiry per day to one every other day. Obviously, the requests for assistance are higher when there is an event coming up, registration for webinars, etc. I can see that it might be very valuable to you during your registration periods or when you need to answer general questions about brochure availability, dates for upcoming events, etc. For the low cost, you might want to give it a try to see how it works in your program. It is a neat customer service feature. Our life help board is answered by our frontline staff or information specialists. That is probably the best place for you to assign it, as well.
