There are plenty of hotel rooms left for the 2017 LERN Annual Conference, Nov. 15-18, in Portland, Ore., but don’t wait too long.
We expect to sell out our room block sometime in October. Right now about 10 percent of our room block has filled. This is ahead of schedule. But again, you have plenty of time. Just don’t wait too long. We expect a great crowd for this year’s conference.
How to Make Your Hotel Reservation:
We appreciate your patience and understanding in making your hotel reservation this year. The new guidelines are so LERN does not pay tens of thousands of dollars in penalty fees to the hotel.
You need to make your reservation:
1. Directly with the Hilton Portland Downtown, by calling (503) 226-1611, not any other Hilton or other entity.
2. Make sure you are in the “LERN room block.”
3. The rate is $185 a night, single or double, excluding taxes and fees. If you get another rate, you are not in the LERN room block.

- FREE Wednesday preconference seminar of your choice
- FREE Internet in your sleeping room
Do NOT:
- Do not make your reservation with the national Hilton reservations system or any other Hilton reservation, online or not.
- Do not make your reservation with Trivago, Expedia, Kayak or any other website.
- Do not make your reservation at the Portland Hilton not at the $185 rate and not in the LERN room block.
