Gen Y LERN members, working with LERN staff, have created a new Engaged Session format for some of our 50-minute concurrent sessions at the 2017 LERN Annual Conference, Nov. 15-18 in Portland.

Four sessions and speakers will pioneer the new format.

The exciting new format involves:

• Presentation limited to 10 minutes
• Q&A for 5 minutes
• Small group discussions for 15 minutes
• Reports of best ideas from each small group
• Survey and polling using the conference mobile app
• Summary by the Presenter

Participant poll and survey responses will be saved and can be shared with others later. It is part of an evolving change in how learning occurs.  LERN is on the cutting edge, again.
