I get it…this is my seventh time attending the LERN conference and sometimes I wonder if it is really worth the time and money to attend.
Will the content be worth it and will I find value in it even after repeating so many times?
The answer is always a resounding YES!
What I think is so important about the conference is that we are in an ever changing and evolving world. This is especially true in the lifelong learning world and we have to be ahead of the game with all the competition out there.
The LERN conference provides the tools that we can utilize immediately when we get back. Some years our focus has been on marketing, some years operations and always with programming LERN is constantly trying to help us shape our organizations to stand out and provide quality resources to our communities.
I have been fortunate enough to belong to an organization that fully believes in LERN and implements what we learn and apply to our programs this keeps our jobs fresh, fun and engaging, and I think LERN has played an instrumental part in that.
The conference energizes you about programs, it gives you fresh ideas on wherever your organization is at and it is always a way to get you prepared for the future. You won’t regret the decision to attend LERN but you will regret it if you do not join us.
