This past week I was on Captiva Island in Florida learning how sail. My wife, Melinda, is an excellent sailor and I am working hard to get up to speed. The first few days were very windy, but I survived.
The picture is me with my Sailing Team (a family of three) and by the end of the week we took a 26 foot boat out on our own and did great. I passed my certification so the next step is to learn about cruising.
Can't wait for the warm weather in RI so I can get out and practice!
Inspired by Greg's trip? Head to Florida this November for the 2014 LERN Annual Conference.
