What a great week I just had. I spent all week working with staff from the City of Fremont Recreation Department doing a Program Review and Program Management Institute. Without a doubt, the City of Fremont Recreation Department is the best Recreation Department I have had the opportunity to work with. They diligently follow LERN best practices, make data-driven decisions, cover all direct costs with fee-based revenue, and they are on their way to complete financial self-sufficiency. I last visited the City of Fremont Recreation Department in 1998 and their improvements are amazing! Congratulations!!!
