A number of programs have piloted YouTube videos, now it is time to do it right, says video marketer Erin Huggins. Huggins teaches an online course, part of a Video Marketing Certificate, for LERN.
“Video, when done correctly, can tell a story. Stories connect people,” says Huggins. “Video can lead to an emotion trigger that plain text cannot do,” she notes.
The statistics support that. Shoppers who viewed product videos were 144% more likely to add the product to their carts. And video with SEO has a 53% higher chance of showing up on page one of a Google search.
